Hoboken offers many fun outdoor activities to enjoy during the summer. Sometimes on a hot summer day, something indoors is the perfect way to cool off and take a break from the sun. Hoboken has many museums and galleries all around our wonderful city that our Rivington residents can visit this summer. Here are a few and some of the current featured exhibitions on view now!

Hoboken Historical Museum: Hoboken Historical Museum is just a ten minute walk from us here at The Rivington. Throughout the year, this museum puts on shows that highlight the history of our City, and hosts several events and talks throughout the year. Currently you can visit and see an exhibition in their main gallery dedicated to highlighting the life and achievements of Frank Sinatra, a Hoboken native. Events for the month of August include film festivals, author talks, a tomato tasting event and more. You can learn about everything happening at the Hoboken Historical Museum this month by visiting their website.

Roig Gallery: Located on 1st Street, Ricardo Roifg has dedicated his time to putting on great shows at the local Roig Gallery. The art gallery features paintings and art work by this local Hoboken artist which are all  up for sale. You can visit to browse around or look for a great new addition to add to your Rivington apartment. They will also be having a sale now through Labor Day! Make sure to visit their website for directions and more information.

hob’ art: This gallery gives local Hoboken and New Jersey artists the chance to showcase their work, and for community members to come and view it. Their current exhibition features the work of five different artists and includes paintings, sculptures, photography and glass work. The gallery also hosts events and other special activities throughout the year. Their website includes more information about their initiatives, future exhibitions, artists and when you can make a visit.
