Check out These Hoboken Parks for Earth Day
Here are the Rivington apartments, we have the best of both worlds – we live in a bustling, busy city and we also have plenty of access to green space. With Earth Day almost here on April 22, there is no better time to take advantage of that than now!
If you’re looking to finally enjoy this warm weather by taking the dog out, going for a walk or just throwing the Frisbee around, then check out one of these parks located near your Rivington apartment.
Columbus Park, located on Clinton Street between 9th and 10th Streets in Hoboken which is about half a mile from your Rivington apartment, is an extensive park that has basketball courts, a playground and tennis courts for Hoboken residents to enjoy.
Located near Hoboken High School, the park also features a large statue of Christopher Columbus as well as a memorial dedicated to a much-loved Hoboken High School teacher. A relaxing and beautiful park, it’s a great place to stop to get outside and be active or to just read a book.
Elysian Park, located on Hudson Street between 10th and 11th Streets in Hoboken which is about a mile and a half from your Rivington apartment, has a basketball court, a dog run, trails and a playground in a huge, green space.
This shady neighborhood spot is anchored by the prestigious Castle Point Terrace, where part of the 1954 film On The Waterfront was filmed. Check out this park to see this amazing sight or to just have an afternoon in the outdoors!
