When you live in a cultural hotspot like Hoboken, there’s no need to venture all the way to Broadway to catch quality performing arts events – there are tons of exciting things to do for theater lovers right around the corner from your Rivington apartment.
OnStage at Stevens is a new performing arts and cultural series that will bring premier music, theater, dance, literary arts and other entertainment to Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken and the surrounding communities. And even better, general admission tickets are reasonably priced to encourage all to attend, while sponsorship packages are offered for individuals and businesses interested in supporting first-class arts within the community.
The next concert will be held on March 9 at the Institute, which is only about a half a mile away from your Rivington apartment, and it will be a ‘Tribute to Broadway,’ where the iconic music of legendary Broadway composers Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Jerry Bock and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber is showcased in this engaging and entertaining performance.
The program features a chamber ensemble comprised of members of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra performing orchestral selections from timeless Broadway classics such as The Sound of Music, West Side Story, The Phantom of the Opera and more.
This concert has assigned seating, and tickets are $15-$50, based on where the seats are located in the theater. $50 tickets include the post-show reception with the musicians, so make sure you get your VIP tickets today before they run out!
Following the March 9 show, a June 2 show will be performed, so keep an eye out for further information on what this exciting performance will be about!
