Outdoor Summer Fun in Hoboken
Hoboken is a great place to live, and with a month left of summer, why not take advantage of some of the great outdoor activities in the area?
If you’re interested in some outdoor dining options, Pier 13 is one of many that come highly recommended. Casual and fun, Hoboken’s Pier 13 has a backyard friendly flow, hosting movies on the pier every Tuesday night, and with a wide variety of food truck options, this is an enjoyable place to check out.
Another great place to try is The Dubliner. Named one of the best outdoor bars in Hoboken by CBS New York, The Dubliner, is a fantastic spot to enjoy the view of New York City atop its rooftop bar. And if you’re flexible *wink* as an added bonus, every Saturday morning from 11 to noon, they host Yoga sessions for only $20!
For those who appreciate being out on the water, The Hoboken Cove Community Boathouse hosts free kayak and stand up paddleboard days at Maxwell Park Beach from May through mid-September. Enjoy the Hudson River as well as amazing views of the New York City Skyline.
Take a walk to Pier C Park, a mere 20 minutes away from The Rivington Hoboken, and you’ll get the chance to explore and enjoy the waterfront. Bring the kids along, as there’s a playground located on the little island. It’s a nice place to unwind with the family or friends, lie down in the grass and enjoy the panoramic view of NYC.
However you decide to spend your last days of summer, there’s no doubt you’ll find something enjoyable to do here in Hoboken.
