Popular New Places to Eat Near The Rivington

31 October, 2015

In case you haven’t heard the buzz, there’s a couple new great places to eat in Hoboken as of late. Long awaited restaurant, Hansel ‘n Griddle officially opened recently (Oct 18th) and this past summer Green Pear Café joined our great city.

Known for their breakfast and sandwiches, Hansel ‘n Griddle also boasts a variety of salads, fruit smoothies, and paninis. Located at 100 Hudson Street, they’re an easy breakfast stop on your way into work or for a quick lunch on the weekend. Their food is fresh, cooked to order using only the highest quality ingredients. Featuring an open kitchen, at Hansel ‘n Griddle you can place your order at the counter and wait at your table while they cook and bring it straight to you. Head on over for breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night or get your favorites delivered right here to The Rivington!

Located at 93 Grand Street, on the corner of 1st and Grand Street, Green Pear Café is an adorable addition to Hoboken. The family run café has a few tables outside, but since it’s getting chilly, you’ll probably want to dine inside — which isn’t an issue since they have a small grab-and-go bar as well small dining tables in the back of the restaurant. As for their menu, Green Pear has a great selection of items ranging from flatbread (called paratha), Italian coffee (Lavazza), crepes, and tasty desserts. The place is a great spot to stop by, relax, use their free wifi, and try out their food. The best part is that the most expensive item on their menu is only $10.  Green Pear Cafe is open 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, and 8am-3pm Saturday & Sundays. As an added bonus, the Café is also BYOB – perfect for brunch!
