Best Hoboken Bars of 2015

17 December, 2015

Our city has been the best in our mind forever, but this year Hoboken is now catching on with everyone’s best cities and places to live lists. With that in mind, Hoboken has also been the place to go when it comes to the bar scene. Here are three awesome Hoboken bars of 2015 that you should definitely check out in 2016.

Pier 13

A family friendly beer garden that offers a variety of food, drinks, and activities. With a prime location that is easily accessible for NJ and NY residents, Pier 13 is open from May through October in order to enjoy the wonderful weather and skyline view that can’t be beat.

Cork City

The self-proclaimed, “Hoboken’s Beer SpeakEasy,” bar is a relaxing break from the typical Hoboken bar scene. You can head over and grab one of 140 brews, throw some darts or simply relax by the fireplace. If you enjoy craft beer, this is the place to check out!

The Stewed Cow

Known for its bourbon, this bar wows whiskey lovers. Well off Washington Avenue, Hoboken’s main drag, there are 100-plus American whiskeys available, from the affordable to the astronomical. A 2-ounce pour of cult whiskey Pappy Van Winkle 15-year Reserve will set you back two hundred bills. Don’t like whiskey? There are about 20 draft taps. The menu includes the Roadkill Platter (brisket, bacon, scrambled eggs and biscuit, with spicy sausage gravy), or the Infamous Brunch.
