Saint Anne’s Italian Festival of Hoboken
Ferris Wheels, funnel cake, delicious food and more! July weather brings fun festival activities all around New Jersey this summer as many local towns are hosting celebrations during the warm summer weather. Many summer festivals are taking place close by to us here at The Rivington, with one taking place just minutes away here in Hoboken this month! Our residents can enjoy the fun with the rest of the Hoboken community.
St. Ann’s Italian Festival will be held on July 22nd and run until the 26th. This year will be the 106th year of the festival and it is expected to be as great, if not more, as in past years! The event will have carnival rides of course and plenty of crafting stations for some fun. Rides include machines that twist, some that turn and some that you can enjoy and relax on such as the ferris wheel. There will also be booths set up throughout the event to honor and inform guests about Italian culture and heritage.
There will be plenty of food at the festival as well! Visitors can expect to find zeppolis, Italian sausage, meatballs, pizza, gelato and more. On Saturday, there will be a pizza contest to see who can claim St. Ann’s honor of the best pizza in Hoboken.
There will also be live music for entertainment each evening. Local bands that are going to be onstage include Nerds, La Cabana and a Bruce Springsteen tribute band. One night will also feature a disco tribute band and the live musical performances will close with a 17 piece band ensemble.
