Korean Cuisine Fusions with Freshness to Create a New Hoboken Eatery
In upscale Hoboken, just any restaurant won’t do – instead, Rivington residents want to know that their food is as fresh as it gets. That’s why new eatery So Gong Dong Fresh, a Korean fusion restaurant that focuses on only using the freshest ingredients, has been enjoying such success after it opened in late September at 70 Hudson Street, which is about a mile and a half from your Rivington apartment.
The new restaurant was sprouted from a partnership between the Fresh U Grill and Juice Bar as well as So Gong Dong Restaurants. With a menu focused on wraps, rice bowls and build-your-own offerings in a newly renovated space, the restaurant is also known for its in-house, take-out and delivery services of Korean classics, American classics and variety of fusion offerings.
With hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., every day of the week, one of the eatery’s most popular menu items is its fusion bowls, with dishes such as the bulgogi bowl with thinly sliced marinated beef sirloin with stir-fried onions, romaine, pepper, fried egg and jasmine rice.
Plus, on the menu you’ll also find Korean mix bowls served with gochuang sauce and seasonal vegetables which include bean sprouts, cucumber, shitake mushroom, carrot, lettuce, radish and squash.
If you’re in the mood for some Asian fusion either at this modern new restaurant or from the comfort of your Rivington apartment with a take-out dish, check out So Gong Dong Fresh for dinner this month!
