Hoboken Mutzfest

23 January, 2018

Another foodie event is happening in Hoboken! This one is dedicated to all the cheese lovers out there.  The annual Mutzfest will be held at the Hoboken Elks Club, just a 10-minute walk from the Rivington, January 28th, 2018, from 2-6pm and general admission tickets are still available. Picture your favorite Italian restaurants in the city serving fresh mutz a variety of ways: with tomatoes and basils, on crispy Italian bread, with meat and any other way you can think of.

Get ready to break your New Year’s resolution (unless your resolution was to eat more cheese) with the best of the best mozzarella – and lots of it! The contest features five of the city’s most renowned and much-loved mozzarella eateries: Frankie & Ava’s, M&P Biancamano, Margherita’s Pizza & Café, Tony Boloney’s and Vito’s Italian Deli. Only Hoboken’s best mutz-makers are invited to participate in this annual classic that brings together local small businesses and community. This event is organized by the Hoboken Family Alliance and proceeds from the event benefit its numerous local community initiatives.

Enjoy a fun, festive day with friends, live music and we forgot to mention to leave from for cannoli’s! If you think you can handle lots of mutz AND cannoli’s, you can enter the cannoli eating contest.

Online tickets are sold out, but you can go to any of the participating restaurants to get tickets.
