Adopt a Pet for National Adoption Month

by admin

You know you have been thinking about an adorable puppy or kitten that would be the perfect addition to your family this holiday season, and lucky for you (and them!) November is National Adoption Month.

Here in Hoboken, there are tons of adoption centers that are equipped to help you find your new best friend and a furry companion his or her forever home. If you are interested in adopting a new pet, then stop by one of these local adoption centers to learn more.

Companion Animal Placement, located at 640 Washington Street, Hoboken which is a 15 minute walk from your Rivington apartment, is a non-profit organization committed to saving the lives of animals while educating the public about the spaying and neutering of all pets. CAP is run 100% by volunteers and was founded in 1989 for the sole purpose of finding homes for all the unwanted animals.

Their animals come from shelters, abusive homes, the street or once happy homes forced to abandon their helpless pet. All of their rescues are seen by a vet, vaccinated and altered if they are old enough.

Final Hope Animal Rescue, located at 6 Congress St, Jersey City which is a 15 minute walk from your Rivington apartment, is an animal rescue organization that strives to provide help to New Jersey’s abandoned and neglected cats and dogs.

Final Hope is a small organization with big dreams that your support and contributions help achieve. They are not a shelter but a few volunteers that came together to do more for our four-legged friends.
